Dr. Iqbal Allarakhia is a pediatric neurologist who is board certified in pediatric neurology and clinical neurophysiology. He has completed pediatric neurology and epilepsy fellowships training at the University of Michigan Medical Center. He has daily weekday clinics at both Detroit/Grosse Ponte and Macomb Township offices. In addition he is available to see in-patient consultations at the St John Hospital and Medical Center. All childhood neurological conditions are seen including epilepsy, headaches, autism, cerebral palsy, speech and language disorders, other developmental disorders, neurofibromatosis, tics and Tourette syndrome, other movement disorders, learning disabilities, ADHD, pediatric stroke, and pediatric sleep disorders. Included modalities of treatment include vagus nerve stimulator. There are hospital based facilities for both in-patient and out-patient, short and long-term electroencephalography (EEG) and evoked potential testing.
