Dr. Bawle is board certified in Pediatrics and Medical Genetics and is the Section Chief of the Pediatric Genetics Department at St. John Hospital and Medical Center. She graduated from Grant Medical College and completed her Pediatric residency at Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit. She is a member of the American Society of Human Genetics and the American Medical Association. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the founding fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics. Dr. Bawle was recognized by her peers as one of the area's most respected genetics specialists in Hour Detroit magazine's "Top Docs" rankings 2007. Consultations for children with any type of birth defect, mental retardation or suspected genetic candition.
