Welcome to Providence Maternal Fetal Medicine

The physicians at Providence Maternal Fetal Medicine work in tandem with their patients in the management of high-risk, complicated pregnancies with prenatal diagnosis and genetic procedures available such as chorionic villus sampling and amniocentesis, and prenatal ultrasound. Both Dr. Blessed and Dr. Welch are Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Maternal and Fetal Medicine. They have published many papers and given lectures on topics of their expertise, including high risk pregnancies and maternal fetal medicine. We pride ourselves on providing personal and friendly care while keeping abreast of the most current advances. Our registered nurses are very experienced in the care of obstetrical patients and are a valuable source of information for patients and their families.
