Dr. Gavini has been practicing Ob-Gyn specialty since 1978 at Providence Hospital. After 20 years of practice, she decided to concentrate on Gynecology with special interest in Pelvic Medicine, Urinary Incontinence, Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and Major Abdominal and Vaginal Surgeries. Her other interests are Menopause, Preventive Woman’s Health with emphasis on addressing Emotional and Physical Health. Dr. Gavini is also involved in Resident Physician teaching. She is the Medical Director of Ambulatory Center for Ob-Gyn Residents. She has received outstanding teaching awards in 1982 and 1991. She also received APGO (American Professors of Obstetrics and Gynecology) award for year 2004. She was voted top 100 doctors in Detroit Hour Magazine in 1993. She also received Award Of Excellence by Blue Care Network of Michigan for perfect patient satisfaction in year 2004.
