Welcome to St. John Children's Center Pediatric Neurology

The Pediatric Neurology/Epilepsy Clinic provides outpatient and inpatient consultations for all childhood neurological and developmental conditions including:

  • Epilepsy in children:  medication and use of vagus nerve stimulator
  • Childhood migraine and other headaches
  • Neurofibromatosis and othe neurocutaneous disorders
  • Movement disorders in children including Tourette syndrome
  • Developmental delays including cerebral palsy, communication disorders and autism
  • Academic underachievement, including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder
  • Sleep disorders in children
  • Neurodegenerative and neurogenetic disorders
  • Cerebrovascular disease in children
  • Neonatal neurology
  • Peripheral neuromuscular conditions like Guillian Barre syndrome, myophathy
 
Supportive Services include:
  • Other pediatric subspecialty clinics such as psychology
  • Neurophysiology lab tests, ambulatory electroencephalograms, brainstem auditory evoked potentials and visual evoked potentials
  • Pediatric neuro-imaging including magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, angiography, and neonatal cranial ultrasonography.
