St. John Hospital NICU

The physicians at St. John Hospital and Medical Center Neonatal Intensive Care Units are all board certified in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.  Each physician has his or her own area of special focus or training including certification in Pediatric Apnea and training to read apnea monitor results, cardio-pulmonary diseases in newborn infants and perinatal asphyxia, neonatal pulmonary function testing and newborn respiratory care and related training and/or teaching for physicians.

Perinatal and neonatal care may begin as early as the 20th week of pregnancy and may end anywhere from 7 to 28 days following birth.
